12 DAYS TANZANIA COMPREHENSIVE SAFARI.

Overview

Welcome to Tanzania comprehensive safari that will offer you a chance to view migration of wildebeests, beautiful birds, the big five animals (Lion, buffalo, Rhino, leopard and elephant), and big cats.

You will take part in different activities such as game drive boat rides, swimming and nature walks. It’s accompanied by memorable moments such as picnic lunches, coffee moments among others.

Detailed itinerary.

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania and transfer to the hotel.

On your arrival, our driver-guide full in uniform will pick you from the airport and transfer you to the hotel in Arusha. At the hotel, you will have your meals and accommodation with entertainments.

Day 2: Depart Arusha to Lake Manyara and evening game drive.

After enjoying a fabulous breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara national park to catch up with the afternoon game drive. The journey to this park is massive and it is accompanied by a picnic lunch. This park is well famous for its scenic national park is noted for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons and flamingo flocks.

As we take a game drive in the plains, watch out for buffaloes, elephants, zebras, wildebeests and giraffes as well as antelopes such as bushbucks among others.

You will later check in at the accommodation facility for our dinner and overnight which will mark the end of day 2.

Day 3: Morning game drive and depart to Serengeti national park

As we plan to head to Serengeti national park, we take a morning game drive through Manyara national park to spot more wildlife. You have an option of either visiting the Masai people and discover their culture or visiting the Olduvai gorge museum while on the way to Serengeti national park.

Olduvai Gorge is famous as a historical archaeological site where the remains of early humans and tools are stored. Arrive and check in at the accommodation facility booked.

Day 4: Full day in Serengeti National Park.

Enjoy the plains of Serengeti national park with a full day game drive where you will encounter various wildlife in this largest national park in Tanzania covering approximately 14 760 km². This park therefore, harbours a large herd of mammals including the wildebeests that have seasonal migrations.

Other mammals include zebras, gazelles, topi, buffalos, and hartebeest and much more. You can also view large predators such as lions, leopards and many others.

Day 5: Depart to Ngorongoro crater from Serengeti NP.

After a delicious very heavy breakfast, you will find a way to Ngorongoro craters as you traverse through the Masai lands. A stopover on the way for a picnic lunch and then proceed with the journey. On arrival, you will explore the plains of Ngorongoro crater.

Day 6: Ngorongoro crater game drive and proceed to Lake Manyara.

Take a five-hour game drive in this park to spot the world’s largest unflooded calderas that attract a big number of wild mammals that cannot be spotted elsewhere such as the spotted hyenas, black rhinos among others.

In the afternoon after an option of either a hot lunch or picnic lunch proceed to Manyara national park. This park is famous for tree-climbing lions that are rare to be spotted. Other wildlife that can be spotted here is baboons, monkeys, leopards, elephants among others.

Day 7: Depart to Arusha from Lake Manyara NP and a flight to Zanzibar Island.

Take a morning game drive to catch up with the predators such as the lions, leopards among others. After, precede the beautiful rift valleys and the local villages of Mto wa Mbu. After reaching Arusha, you will have your flight ready to take you to Zanzibar Island with beautiful attractions ranging from man-made to natural attractions.

Day 8-11: Exploring Zanzibar beaches and ancient stone town.

These exciting days will enable you to explore this island by participating in different activities of your choice such as sunbathing, swimming, spice tours, nature walks among others.

While exploring the Zanzibar archipelago, you will observe these beautiful beaches that will offer you a relaxed mood and appreciation of nature.

Day 12: Fly back to your home country.

Immediately after breakfast, you will transfer to Zanzibar airport with your luggage where you will catch up with a departure flight and this will be the end of this 12 days Tanzania comprehensive safari.
