Overview.

Discover the beautiful Masai Mara national park as you take this 3 days safari where you will encounter the big five animals and the big cats. Also, witness the wildebeest migration if the safari is carried out in the month of migration. Bird species are also in this park and among others vultures, hornbills, and secretary bird, long-crested Eagle, ostriches can be spotted.

Detailed itinerary.

Day 1: Travel to Masai Mara from Jomo Kenyatta international airport

Arrival in Nairobi-Kenya at the airport and then transfer to Masai Mara national park. Masai Mara national park is well known for its diverse wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and seasonal migrations of the wildebeests and zebras, gazelles and the Masai people who are cattle keepers and their culture is still untouched; they are the central inhabitants of the area.

Many bird species, over 470 have been sighted in this park and most of them are migrants and birds that can be found throughout the year are vultures, hornbills, secretary bird, long-crested Eagle, ostriches and more. The park connects to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and this has made it a wildlife concentration site.

Day 2: Masai Mara exploration.

This will be a full day game viewing through game drives. You will pack your lunch and in the afternoon, you will have a lunch picnic in the wild which most tourists call it going wild. You will have a chance to see much wildlife in the plains and over 450 species of animals have been recorded here.

Millions and a thousands of wildebeest and zebras respectively have been seasonally migrating in these plains. Among other animals are topis, elephants, warthogs, giraffes, buffaloes, cheetahs are spotted in this reserve. Also, visit the Masai people with their unique culture and be entertained through traditional dances, learn about the way they worship their gods.

Day 3: Travel to Nairobi after a morning game drive.

Embark on a morning game drive where you will spot more wildlife and then transfer to Nairobi city. Our driver-guide will drop you at either the hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta international airport depending on your next programme.
