Overview.
This 5 days safari covers three conservation areas with diverse wildlife that will make your safari enjoyable. Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingos, Naivasha with its unique bird species and Masai Mara national reserve is host to the great wildebeest migration. All these are interesting moments of wildlife watching as they move and feed /hunt.

Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park.
Arrive at the airport or a pick from the hotel in Nairobi and then transfer to Lake Nakuru national park with an escalated drive through rift valley where you will have a stopover at the viewpoint.
The park got its name from the lake that occupies most of the park. It is home to over 400 bird species including the flamingos which are common here that turn the surface into reddish pink. Animals spotted in this park include black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and much more. On arrival, you will take an evening game drive around the park and later on, check-in the booked accommodation.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha.
Take a morning game drive to spot more wildlife in the plains and valleys of Nakuru national park and proceed with a transfer to Naivasha after lunch. Naivasha is situated northwest of Nairobi city in the rising part of the Great Rift Valley, a gorge along the lake forms an entrance to Hell’s Gate National Park and famous as a bird-watching destination.
But it has also a variety of both flora and fauna, among others include crocodiles, hippos, zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, Vervet monkeys, hares, genet cats, waterbuck and giraffe among others. Take an evening game drive through the park if time allows on your arrival.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara national reserve.
A morning game drive as you traverse through the Naivasha plains after your breakfast to be able to spot different animals. Then after a morning game drive, travel to Masai Mara reserve in the southern Masai region which is famous for the annual migration of thousands of wildebeests and zebras. This park also homes the big five animals such as the lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and cheetah that traverse in the plains of the park.
Others that can be spotted are Masai giraffe, Impala, Zebra, Topi, both the Thomson's and Grant's Gazelles among others as the Masai people graze in the wilderness of this park. On arrival, you will take a shore and prepare for the next morning.
Day 4: Whole day in Masai Mara national reserve.
The drive on this day takes you to the low plains of the park and if it’s a season of the wildebeest migration, you will have a chance to witness them moving in thousands. Picnic lunch will be interesting as you enjoy the wilderness. Among other animals that will be spotted include Impalas, Zebras, Topis, the Thomson's and Grant's gazelles, lions and buffaloes.
Day 5: Masai Mara reserve – Nairobi.
Take game drives in the Masai Mara and then enjoy a mid-morning breakfast which will be followed with a transfer to Nairobi, a drop off at either airport or hotel depending on your program. This will be the end of this 5 days safari.
