7 DAYS KENYA WILDLIFE AND ZANZIBAR SAFARI.

Overview.

As you take part in this safari individual, family or group, enjoy wildlife such as such the big five animals, the amazing wildebeest migration, the big cats, birds both savannah and water birds like lovebirds, Abyssinian ibis, flamingos among others. Also, visit Zanzibar Island having fresh Indian Ocean waters with beautiful beaches, and stone town with its ancient buildings.

Visit prominent conservation areas such as Masai Mara with the unique culture of the Masai people and Lake Nakuru home of flamingos.

Detailed itinerary.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Lake Nakuru.

Welcome to Kenya! The driver-guide will pack your belongs like bags to the vehicle and then start the journey to lake Nakuru. In case you arrived in the morning, you will have a short city visit to Nairobi where you will visit the Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe centre, Snake Park, African heritage house, and national museum among others.

Lake Nakuru national park well known for inhabiting mazing flocks of flamingos that turn the area reddish peak while they gather at the lake shores. The park has other mammal species like the warthogs, rhinos, buffalos, elephants among others. On arrival, take a drive to your booked accommodation depending on the type of safari.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve.

Embark on a massive game drive to enjoy the beautiful Lake Nakuru. Spot different wildlife while on this massive game drive and then after a midmorning breakfast, transfer to Masai Mara national reserve which is the biggest national reserve in the country with diverse wildlife.

The park has an interesting feature of wildebeest migration which is among the seven wonders of Africa. On arrival, take an evening game drive where you will spot a variety of animals such as elephants, lions, leopards, gazelles, zebras, warthogs, buffalos among others.

Day 3: Full day in Masai Mara.

Take a full-day exploration of this national reserve where you will enjoy wildlife. Also, take a visit to the Masai community to learn about their language, cultural dances and music, food among others. As you cruise around the park, witness the migration of wildebeests together with Gazelles and zebras if your safari coincides with the month of their migration. Then lunch picnic in the wild while watching nature with its wildlife.

Day 4: Transfer to Nairobi and fly to Zanzibar.

Enjoy a morning game drive to spot more wildlife and then be served with mid-morning breakfast followed by the check out from your lodge and then transfer back to Nairobi where you will drop at the airport. Then board a flight to Zanzibar Island where you will meet our tour representative who will take you to the booked accommodation.

Day 5-6: Zanzibar exploration.

These days, take a full discover about this island where you will take a city excursion of the stone town with its traditional buildings, enjoy a spice tour and discover more about the spices grown here such as thyme, ginger, garlic, cinnamon, coriander among others.

Also, take part in beach activities like sunbathing, swimming, playing with dolphins, and boat ride among others.

Day 7: Transfer to the airport and departure.

On this day, pack your belongings and then transfer to the airport in Zanzibar or sea port for departure which will therefore be the end of your 7 days Kenya wildlife and Zanzibar safari.
