10 DAYS UGANDA GORILLAS AND ZANZIBAR BEACH HOLIDAY.

Overview.

Enjoy as you trek these gentle giants - Mountain gorillas and have a chance to view Lake Victoria while in Entebbe. Each stopover is wonderful and memorable for instance the one at the Uganda equator in Kayabwe allows you to take pictures and engage in a geographical experiment.

Also visit the communities like the Batwa community where you will explore one of the unique Ugandan cultures and then relaxing at Zanzibar beaches while touring the stone town and also, participating in other activities like swimming, boat rides among others.

Detailed itinerary.

Day 1: Arrival at the Entebbe airport and transfer to a hotel

Welcome to the pearl of Africa-Uganda! Our safari guide will pick you from Entebbe international airport and he will also brief you about Uganda and this 10 days Uganda gorillas and Zanzibar beach holiday safari. Then you will be transferred and dropped at the hotel in Kampala the capital city of Uganda.

Day 2: Travel to Bwindi impenetrable national park

An amazing journey to Bwindi national park in south-western Uganda begins immediately after breakfast. The major stopovers will be at the Uganda equator in Kayabwe to take photos, experiment and purchase some souvenirs and Igongo cultural centre for lunch and a tour at Kigezi-Ankole museum.

Proceed with the journey as you traverse through the Kigezi highlands and Ankole cattle farms. Bwindi is one of the national parks in Africa where you can trek the remaining mountain gorillas and it has the highest population. The forest park is adorable with wildlife in form of plants, animals and bird species. On the arrival, you will transfer and arrive at the safari lodge booked.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking and Batwa community visit.

An exciting moment starts with breakfast and then head to the headquarters of the park for a short briefing to be instructed about the rules and regulation while trekking these endangered species. Then penetrate the forest with the help of the park ranger guide to search for these gentle giants, while in the forest, encounter other animals like monkeys, olive baboon, birds like African green pigeon, African harrier hawk, Cinnamon-chested bee-eater, Crowned hornbill among others

An hour will be located to you while in their presence as you watch them play, feed and then groom their young ones. After the trek, which can take about 2-3 hours, you will head back to the lodge and immediately after lunch; take a Batwa community tour where you will explore their unique way of dancing, meals among others. The day will end after taking your dinner.

Day 4: Transfer back to Entebbe and fly to Zanzibar.

Transfer back to Entebbe after an early breakfast with only one major stopover in Mbarara for refreshments. On arrival at the airport in Entebbe, board your scheduled flight to Zanzibar Airport where you will find out tour representative who will transfer you to the booked hotel.

Zanzibar is a combination of many islands locates in Tanzania. It is well known for having beautiful and adorable beaches that have attracted tourists to this island.

Day 5-9: Zanzibar beach holiday.

These 5 days, you have a variety of activities you can do take part in. including; swimming with dolphins, taking a stone town tour, sunbathing at the beach, visiting the nearby communities as you taste the Swahili foods. And also, spice tour where you will discover different spices such as ginger, cinnamon, thyme, coriander among others.

Day 10: Transfer back to Zanzibar airport for departure.

On the last day of this 10 days Uganda gorillas and Zanzibar beaches, start with breakfast and then head back to Zanzibar airport where you will catch up with your flight back home.
