Overview
The safari takes you to the primates of Bwindi impenetrable national park and wildlife in Lake Mburo national park and also has a chance to explore one of the unique cultures in Uganda the Batwa pygmies. Your safari will commence from Kigali-Rwanda and ends in Kampala Uganda and this means that you are visiting two countries in 4 days.

Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park from Kigali – Rwanda.
On your arrival at Kigali international airport or after breakfast at the hotel, our tour representative will pick you and any point of your choice or agreed on point and quickly offers you a briefing about the tour. He will then transfer you to Bwindi national park in Uganda crossing the Katuna border, and on the arrival, you will be warmly welcomed at the lodge booked.
Bwindi national park has over 20 habituated gorilla families that you have a choice to choose which exactly you are interested in trekking. Among other family groups are Katwe, Nkuringo, Habinyanja, Bitukula and Mishaya and they are found in four sectors that is Nkuringo, Rushaga, Buhoma and Ruhija.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking adventure and Batwa community tour
Head to the forest for gorilla trekking after taking breakfast which will begin immediately after briefing where you will be told about dos and don’ts to guide you while in the forest. After meeting the rare species of mountain gorillas, you will be given an hour while in their presence and the trek back to the park offices where you will meet your driver-guide and make a drive back to the lodge.
After lunch, visit the nearby local community of Batwa and experience their culture where you will be entertained with cultural music and dances, interact with the elders and enjoy story tales among others and at the same time you can support the local community by purchase at list hand-made craft.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park and evening game drive
Transfer to Lake Mburo national park after breakfast passing through the Ankole-Kigezi highlands which are well terraced offering the best eye-catching view. Be welcomed with Ankole long horned cattle grazing with zebras and other antelopes in the park and then proceed to the lodge. Lake Mburo national park got its name from the lake that is located inside the park Mburo but it has several other lakes and it’s the smallest savannah national park in Uganda.
It boasts wildlife such as tree species, animals like impalas, zebras, elephants, and crocodiles, hippos among others with birds like malachite kingfisher, hadada ibis, and African fish eagle among others. You will have a chance to enjoy an evening game drive where y will be able to spot much wildlife.
Day 4: Morning game drive and transfer to Kampala.
Take a morning game drive in the park plains which will be followed by mid breakfast and then check out of the lodge and transfer to Kampala with a stopover at the Uganda equator in Kayabwe. Proceed with the journey and then a drop off at either hotel in Kampala or the airport in Entebbe.
