The gorge offers a tremendous moment while trekking these endangered species by spotting other attractions like red colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, olive baboons, different butterfly species, and bird species among others.
Trekking chimps in Kyambura forest takes about 2-3 hours like any other chimpanzee destination in Uganda and after you will transfer to Bwindi national park.
Bwindi National Park is famous for its high number of mountain gorillas in the world and according to 2018 census, more than half of world’s gorilla population reside here. Upon setting your eyes on a family of mountain gorillas, the ranger guide will offer you an hour before trekking back to the park Bandas to be awarded with a certificate. All you need to know is that trekking can take 2-3 hours depending on where these gorillas spent their last night.
